ERA Martin Recognizes Top Producers for First Half of 2020

Local Real Estate Market Strong Since Pandemic

Salisbury, MD: Local real estate firm ERA Martin Associates recently honored their top producing Realtors for the first half of 2020 at a luncheon held on Thursday August 13th. The event was the first gathering that the firm was able to have since the pandemic began, and recognized the top sales agents for the first and second quarters of 2020. ERA is proud to be the top real estate firm in Wicomico County for the past seven years, and was thrilled to be able honor their top producing agents for their successes during an incredibly trying time.

In attendance at the luncheon were Frances Sterling, Gayle Quillin, Roger Sansom, Laurie Cannon, Joan Catlin, Brandon Johnson, Colleen Meiser, Greg Johnson, Jeff Dale, and Marti Hoster, as well as Nancy Ashley, Jeff Ashley, and Min Pi, who make up The Ashley Group. Chairman Bill Martin and President Joni Williamson hosted the lunch, along with ERA’s new marketing coordinator Kayla Hildreth. Not in attendance were Holly Worthington and Margo Sarbanes. At the lunch, discussion centered around the local market and how the real estate industry has adapted to business since the pandemic.

ERA acknowledged Frances Sterling, Gayle Quillin, and Holly Worthington as the top three agents for the first half of 2020. 

“We appreciate the opportunity to recognize our agents not only for their sales production, but for other ways in which they make a difference in our community and industry”, says Joni Williamson. “We’re always looking for ways in which we can better our company, and these luncheons serve as a sounding board for new ideas and suggestions.”

Although greatly affected by the stay-at-home orders early in the pandemic, the local real estate industry bounced back once the orders were lifted. In Wicomico County year-to-date, real estate sales have met and exceeded those of 2019. Incredibly low inventory and historically low interest rates have created quite a bit of buyer demand, and home values are beginning to rise.
